Responsibilities
Join our growing team of engineers in our Morrisville, NC facility, where we are designing new Trident military and commercial computing products! You will be part of the R&D team developing multi-level secure collaboration systems for Navy, Air Force, and Department of Homeland Security. This innovative solution allows users to collaborate across security boundaries (Top Secret/Secret/Unclassified) using different collaboration applications such as text-chat, whiteboard, wiki, web services, and others. Trident is seeking a self-starting engineer with the ability to work in a small, close-knit team environment, both autonomously and as part of our R&D team.
Requirements
Candidates should understand the full software life cycle development process and must have a Bachelors degree or higher in Software Engineering or related field.
- at least 7+ years as a Java developer in a UNIX, Linux, or Windows environment
- Strong understanding of OOA/OOD/OOP
- At least 4 years experience with Java
- At least 2 years experience with XML
Nice to have:
- Experience with UML
- Experience with security protocols/networks including SSL and PKI
- Experience with open source tools such as JBoss, configuration management tools such as SVN; and IDE tools such as Eclipse.
